Danielle and Georgia’s presentation will provide a high-level overview of Data Collection and its use in the Asset Management of roads. Throughout ARRB’s 60-year history, Data Collection and Asset Management have been provided as core services. The accumulated knowledge and experience in collecting and utilising pavement condition and performance data enables ARRB to support road managers in making informed and effective decisions for the management of their network. Types of road condition data including surface condition properties, pavement strength and skid resistanceHow road condition data is collected, including an overview of ARRB’s survey vehiclesHow this data can be used to understand the health of a network and improve asset management practices.
