From 22 July to 4 August this year, Roads Australia is again leading a delegation of Australian transport leaders on an international visit to study the latest developments in the fast-moving world of future transport and smart cities.

This year we return to North America. Much has happened around the planning and implementation of trials for autonomous vehicles since our last visit to the United States in April 2017. This trip aims to follow up on our key contacts to get an update on what is happening now, and what’s around the corner.

We’ll also be visiting Canada for the first time – a country that faces many similar challenges to Australia, particularly around the integration of smart infrastructure into the urban environment and the transition from private to public transport-based mobility options.

The package cost of the trip is $18,000 (inc. GST). This figure is based on actual costs incurred and includes a $1,500 registration fee (see below), 5-star accommodation, all breakfasts, most on-ground transport and select meals. It does not include flights or visas. Our travel agent can help you organise these should you require assistance.

Places on our 2019 Study Visit are limited to 20. To secure your place, please pay the $1,500 registration fee by April 18.
