Matthew Bereni
Matthew has extensive industry and leadership experience in the public and private sectors in civil and transport engineering. Prior to joining TMAA, Matthew held the role of National Director of Strategy & Innovation with the Australian Road Research Board (ARRB). Matthew’s previous roles included Manager of National Harmonisation at the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR) and Manager of Pricing and Economics at the National Transport Commission (NTC). Matthew is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and has Honours Masters degrees from ‘École des Ponts ParisTech’ and ‘Ecole Nationale des Travaux Publics de l’Etat’, France and from Imperial College London.

Lee Wilder
Lee has an extensive knowledge of a broad platform of accounting packages and implementation. Her financial expertise has seen her work in a range of firms, including traffic management operations. She has an exceptional understanding of the requirements of the legislative and government financial reporting for not for profit associations as well as corporates.

Secretariat – WA, SA, Qld & NSW
Marie Cunningham
Marie has over 15 years’ experience in secretariat management for a wide range of clients including CCF, CCAA and the Institute of Quarrying Australia.
Marie currently provides a secretarial service to four Divisions and is instrumental in advising and assisting Chairs and Vice Chairs in their roles. She also manages local events for these Divisions and works closely with respective CCF as part of TMAA’s ongoing collaboration with associations and organisations.
Marie has had previous roles in the Royal Australian Navy and the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade in both Australia and Thailand. She is an avid canoeist and puts safety first when paddling at West Lakes or on the Port River.
