The award highlights innovative and effective solutions that improve road safety, congestion, and overall traffic flow. Submissions are evaluated on criteria such as innovation, effectiveness, complexity, impact, and significance of the delivered project or event. Winners gain industry recognition and the right to use the relevant Traffic Management Project/Event of the Year logo in their marketing materials for the following 12 months, as well as a 1 page editorial in Detours in the same year.
