Having served in the Australian SAS and climbed Mt Everest, Travis is an expert in managing challenging environments, leadership, cultural change and safety.

Drawing on this specialist experience, Travis has spent the last 20 years challenging organisational culture, process and behaviours related to occupational violence.

Focused on getting staff home safe each and every day, the team at Holland Thomas create safer workplaces that enhance wellbeing for all whilst also delivering improved operational and financial performance.

Travis has led the delivery of tailored education packages to help thousands of staff around Australia to safely manage aggressive behaviours in their workplaces.

For staff working on their own, Travis’ team has developed My Safety Buddy - a smartphone app and web portal based solution for lone worker safety. It has been designed with priority on ease of use, comprehensive safety features and scalability.

Passionate about creating safer workplaces, Travis has spoken at more than 30 conferences around Australia to promote safety and wellbeing for workers. Travis also delivers motivational talks.

Traffic controllers are on the front lines - ensuring safety, managing traffic flow, and interacting with drivers and pedestrians. Unfortunately, OVA (Occupational Violence and Aggression) poses significant risks to traffic controllers.

Maintaining a positive safety culture benefits staff and the organisation. On the other hand, a less than optimal safety culture has significant human and financial costs. Now, more than ever, the obligation, both moral and legal, rests with every traffic management organisation to redefine what is ‘safe’.

In this engaging presentation, Travis Holland will discuss why building a positive safety culture should be an integral part of every traffic management organisation’s ongoing staff safety and risk management strategy.  He will ask the question, “Can investment in staff safety really deliver significant benefits to the organisation that are measurable?” You will leave the presentation with insights and tips to take back to your organisation on how they can build a more positive safety culture to help everyone to get home safely each and every day.

We look forward to connecting with you during this exciting webinar.

Kind regards,

Bailey Morgan
