TMAA encourages members to support Road Worker Day of Remembrance (RWDOR) on Monday, 9 November 2026.
The day honours road workers who have lost their lives, those injured and those who continue working to keep Australia's roads safe. It also reminds motorists that behind every hi-vis vest, traffic cone and road closure is a person with family, friends and loved ones waiting for them.
This year's campaign calls on everyone to slow down, pay attention and look beyond the hi-vis. Every road worker deserves to return home safely.
